Project overview

Why this started as a passion project.

The Life Path Calculator was built as a compact interactive web tool rather than a static content page. The goal was speed: enter a birth date, get a result instantly, and keep the experience visual and easy to understand.

It also turned into a good proving ground for front-end patterns: expandable mobile text, session-safe browser behavior, and light animation that doesn't need a heavy app stack.

Build strategy

What makes the tool feel finished.

Client-side functionality

The calculator runs directly in the browser, keeping the interaction quick and simple without a login or server roundtrip.

Animated result flow

Motion and reveal states make the calculation feel more engaging than a plain form result.

Mobile readability

Copy and controls were tightened for small screens so the tool feels app-like on a phone.

Focused SEO concept

A clear single-purpose domain and utility-driven page structure make the project easy to understand and share.

Before / after

The difference.

Before

  • The idea needed to feel like a real tool, not a novelty page
  • Mobile copy risked getting too dense
  • The result needed to feel instant and interactive

After

  • Fast browser-based utility
  • Condensed mobile flow with expandable context
  • Animated output that makes the tool feel polished
